Most AI assistants live off your data. Teti lives off your subscription. And we don't just protect your privacy — we protect how you think. That's the difference, and the reason we started this company.
Why we exist
When you talk to most AI platforms, your conversations may end up training their next models. Your ideas, your work, your private thoughts — all of it becomes fuel for systems that serve other people.
We didn't think that was an acceptable trade. So we built Teti differently: an assistant with persistent memory that remembers you, while never sharing what it knows with anyone else. What you say to Teti stays between you and Teti. Always.
We also believe an AI assistant has a duty its users rarely think about: not to quietly erode the way they think. Heavy reliance on AI can weaken the cognitive muscles — reasoning, memory, original thought — that make us who we are. That's why we built Lucid, our open-source cognitive-health layer that adapts how Teti responds so it strengthens your thinking instead of replacing it.
If you pay for an AI, you shouldn't also be the product — or lose yourself in it.
Founders
TetiAI was founded in 2025 by Marcello Violini (CEO) and Lorenzo Nargiso (CTO) — long-time collaborators with a humanistic background and a deep technical track record.
With TetiAI — headquartered in the United States — they bring the transparency, craft and human-first sensibility they care about into one of the most strategic industries of our time.
We started this company because we wanted an AI we'd actually trust to use ourselves — one that remembers what matters and forgets nothing it shouldn't, without selling a single conversation along the way.
What we believe
Your data is yours
We don't train on your conversations. We don't track your behavior. We don't sell your data. Privacy isn't a feature we added — it's how Teti is built.
Memory should belong to you
Most AI assistants forget everything between sessions. Teti remembers your projects, your style, your work in progress — and never feeds those details into anyone else's model.
Augment, don't replace
Teti is built to strengthen reasoning, autonomy and creativity — not to outsource them. It even suggests pauses when it senses risk of over-reliance.
No military, no surveillance
Our Ethical Charter is public and overseen by an independent Ethics Committee with veto power. Audits are independent. Reporting is anonymous.
The technology
Teti is powered by our own Teti series of models, built on open-source foundations. We choose open source because transparency matters: it lets independent researchers verify how our models actually behave.
Where we're going
Our long-term goal, by 2030, is the first Symbiotic AGI: a form of general intelligence that extends the human mind rather than replacing it.
