Introducing Teti Pups
Today we're introducing Teti Pups: personal agents that take on a goal and carry it forward while you do something else — for hours, or for days. And when they have something to tell you, they don't wait for you to come back. They call you.
In the Odyssey, when Odysseus finally returns to Ithaca after twenty years, disguised as a beggar, no one recognizes him. No one except Argos, the dog he had raised from a puppy. Argos had waited the whole time. For the Greeks, loyalty looked like waiting.
Our Pups carry a different kind of loyalty. They don't wait for you to come back. When they have something to tell you, they call.
Not a chat you have to reopen
Most AI still works one turn at a time. You ask, it answers, and nothing moves until you come back and ask again. The work goes only as fast as your attention.
A Pup works differently. It's a collaborator with its own workspace: you hand it a task, and it sees it through. It plans, executes, checks its own work, fixes what's wrong, and picks up where it left off. It browses the web, reads and writes documents, uses the apps you connect, and can keep several pieces of work going at once.
You set the goal. Your Pup keeps it moving.
What you can ask a Pup
You brief a Pup the way you'd brief a person. A few things to try:
- "Every morning, check what our three main competitors published and call me only if something important changed."
- "Go through my inbox every evening and draft replies to anything that needs one. Don't send anything without asking me."
- "Watch flights to Lisbon for the second week of November and tell me when one drops under €150."
- "Every Friday, turn the files in our Q4 project into a one-page Word report."
The recurring ones are Triggers that live in the Pup's own chats. Everything the Pup does lands there, where you can read it whenever you like.
It calls you
This is the part we're most excited about. When a Pup finishes, finds something that doesn't add up, or needs a decision, it doesn't leave a notification sitting in a pile. Your phone rings. You answer, and in thirty seconds of conversation the work is moving again.
It goes both ways. When an idea comes to you, call your Pup and explain what you want out loud, the way you'd explain it to a colleague.
You decide when a Pup is allowed to call: set quiet hours and a limit on calls per day, and it stays within them.
Seven Pups, each with its own character
At launch there are seven Pups to choose from. Each has its own color, expression, voice, and way of doing things. Pick the one that matches how you like to work, give it a hat or a pair of glasses, give it a name — and from then on, it's yours.
Like a real puppy, it learns by watching you: your hours, your priorities, the sources you trust, the tone of your emails. Each Pup keeps its own memory on top of what Teti already knows about you, and never reads another Pup's. You can have one that follows your inbox and another that follows the market, and they stay out of each other's way.
You also choose what each Pup can reach: which connected apps, which of your projects, which of your skills.
You stay in charge
An autonomous agent is only useful if you always know what it's doing. Every Pup works within the boundaries you give it:
- You choose its tools. Turn capabilities on or off for each Pup, and for every connected app decide whether it can act on its own, has to ask first, or can't touch it at all.
- The actions that matter wait for your yes. Sending, paying, deleting, sharing — a Pup proposes them and waits for your approval, right in the chat.
- Nothing happens out of sight. Everything a Pup does is visible, and you can stop it at any moment.
Private, and European
Pups run on the same model your plan uses in chat — Titan 5 or Titan 5 Flash — served from data centres inside the European Union, under European law. What a Pup sees while it works is never used to train any model, never used to profile you, and never sold.
This matters even more for an agent than for a chat. A Pup reads your inbox, your documents, your projects. The only acceptable answer to "where does all that go?" is: nowhere it shouldn't.
True to the Thetis Promise
At TetiAI, we believe AI should make humans stronger, not dependent. Pups are built on that line. A Pup takes the waiting, the checking, and the endless follow-ups off your plate — the decisions stay with you. That's why the important actions wait for your yes, and why a Pup calls you instead of quietly deciding on your behalf.
It's the same commitment behind our Charter and Ethics framework: AI that handles the work you shouldn't have to, so you can do the work only you can.
Available today
Teti Pups are available today to every Teti user, whatever their plan. Create your first one from Pups in the sidebar.
For businesses, we're working on Pups dedicated to specific roles, integrated with the Teti Cloud API. More on that soon.
